Last updated: 30 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage ChekLearn uses and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Some are essential for the site to function; others enable optional features or analytics. We also use browser localStorage for similar purposes — this policy covers both.
Essential cookies
These cookies are required for ChekLearn to work. Disabling them will prevent you from signing in or completing purchases.
token— an HttpOnly session JWT issued at sign-in. Identifies your authenticated session.SameSite=Lax. Cleared on sign-out.csrf_token— a JS-readable random token used for CSRF protection on state-changing requests (double-submit cookie pattern).SameSite=Lax. Cleared on sign-out.dpdp_consent— records your cookie-banner choice (fulloressential) so we do not show the banner again.SameSite=Lax, expires in 365 days.
Functional browser storage
The following keys are stored in your browser's localStorage to remember preferences across sessions on this device. They are not transmitted to our servers.
dpdpConsent— mirrors thedpdp_consentcookie value; primary source the banner reads to decide whether to render.skipOnboarding— remembers that you have completed or dismissed the onboarding flow on this device.admin_flash— transient flash-message storage used by admin and manager dashboards only.
Analytics
ChekLearn does not currently use third-party analytics cookies in v1. We reserve the right to introduce a privacy-respecting analytics provider in the future, in which case this policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.
Third-party cookies
When you interact with embedded third-party features, the following providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
- Razorpay — during checkout, Razorpay sets session cookies necessary for payment processing.
- VdoCipher — while watching course videos, VdoCipher sets cookies needed for encrypted playback.
We do not control or have access to these providers' cookies; please refer to their respective privacy policies.
How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also clear the dpdp_consent cookie to see the consent banner again. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to ChekLearn.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
