Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ChekLearn online learning platform operated by Chek Research and Development Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India ("ChekLearn", "we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a course, you accept these Terms in full.

The service

ChekLearn offers online video courses with quizzes, AI tutor support, and progress tracking. Courses are delivered through the chekresearch.com domain. The service is offered "as is" and may be updated, expanded, or restricted at our reasonable discretion.

Accounts

You may create one account per natural person. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly at contact@chekresearch.com of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Share account credentials, transfer your account, or allow others to access courses you have purchased.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content from the platform by automated means.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense ChekLearn course content.
• Reverse-engineer the platform, attempt to extract video content from the encrypted player, or circumvent DRM.
• Use the AI tutor to generate content that violates Indian law or third-party rights.
• Upload malicious content, conduct security probes, or attempt to access data belonging to other users.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Payment & access

Course pricing is shown on the relevant course page in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable GST. Payment is processed by Razorpay; we do not handle card or bank credentials directly.

Upon successful payment, you receive access to the purchased course for 365 days from the date of purchase. After that period, the enrolment ends and the course is no longer accessible from your dashboard. [OWNER TO FINALIZE: confirm 365-day access window applies to all SKUs].

Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: a 7-day no-questions-asked refund window applies from the date of purchase, subject to a usage cap of 25% of course content consumed.

Intellectual property

All course content (videos, transcripts, quizzes, written material, the AI tutor system, the ChekLearn platform code, and the ChekLearn brand) is the property of Chek Research and Development Pvt Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view course content for your own learning during the access period. You receive no other rights.

Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcome will result from your use of the platform.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, the total aggregate liability of ChekLearn arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you to ChekLearn in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. ChekLearn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@chekresearch.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, fraud, or non-payment, with reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to protect the service or other users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Disputes

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. [OWNER TO FINALIZE: confirm Bengaluru jurisdiction or set alternative].
